Brand Guidelines
1. Introduction
The world of education is changing and to prosper and grow, we must adapt to the expectations and needs of our students both at home and abroad.
Brand Guidelines have been created to outline the thinking behind BASICSchool – its vision, principles and application, to ensure that anyone who communicates on behalf of BASICSchool can create consistent, memorable work that accurately portrays the essence of the school's brand and identity. These guidelines should assist in producing some great creative work that is true to our vision and therefore strengthens our brand. The guide is intended to be simple and flexible but to provide clear and unambiguous rules about how our brand should appear and behave.
Consistency across all communications is key in delivering powerful brand messages that leave a positive and lasting impression of BASICSchool.
2. Our Logos
The logo consists of two key elements: the symbol and the typography. Designed with minimalism in mind, it features a clean, versatile aesthetic that represents all the art forms taught at the school, from music to performing arts. The unifying element across these disciplines is symbolized by a prominent stage spotlight, reflecting the essence of performance and creativity.
The simplicity of the logo conveys elegance while capturing the school's artistic spirit. Additional logo variations were developed to adapt the design for various platforms, events, and mediums. Each version maintains the core typographic elements, ensuring the logo remains recognizable and impactful across digital platforms, print, and event branding.
To maintain brand integrity, the logo must always be clearly visible and used correctly. Positive or negative versions should be applied based on the background. The logotype, along with all its versions and variations, should never be recreated or altered.
2.1 Primary Logo
The most detailed version, representing the full visual identity of BASICSchool.
This logo is ideal for larger applications where maximum detail and impact are needed. The primary logos for BASICSchool are presented in both color and black-and-white variations.
2.2 Secondary Logo
A simplified version of the primary logo, designed for use in smaller formats while maintaining the core elements of our brand identity.

2.3 Tertiary Logo
The simplest version, perfect for minimal space or low-detail applications where clarity and versatility are essential. Its streamlined design ensures that the logo remains easily recognizable, even in the most constrained or subtle settings.

3. Logo Specifics and Options
Logo Exclusion Zone: The area indicates an exclusion zone which must be kept free of any other graphical and visual elements. The minimum required clear space is defined by the height of the one line of uppercase letters.
Logo Misuse: To protect the integrity of the brand, the logo must always be reproduced in its entirety and must not be altered or modified in any way. Never attempt to recreate the logo, always use the provided media pack.
Logo Options: Different logo variations are essential for maintaining brand consistency across various platforms and mediums. The primary logo, which is the most detailed, includes all elements and is typically used in website headers, footers, large prints, and official company documents. The secondary logo is a more compact version, suitable for social media profiles and business cards. The tertiary logo, being the simplest form, is ideal for small-scale applications like promotional items where space is limited. Additionally, versions featuring "SINCE 2013" highlight our brand's longevity and should be used in contexts that emphasize our history, such as anniversary materials or legacy communications.
4. Typeface
MANROPE is an open-source modern sans-serif font family which perfectly captures the clarity, boldness and minimalism we strive for.

5. Color Palette
