Tara and Zola Ristić, students of BASICSchool, known for their participation in numerous television, concert, and theater projects, impressed the audience and the festival jury during the event held in mid-May 2023. The author of the song, Đorđe Jovančić, explained that he was inspired by the need for deeper reflection on values such as love, community, and human kindness. In an emotional statement, he shared his concerns about issues like peer violence, depression, and the challenges children face in modern society. Singing teacher Mina Petrović emphasized that working on this project was one of the most cherished experiences of her career. According to her, the song "Children of the Universe" carries a powerful message that reminds us of the importance of preserving the kindness and simplicity that are natural to children. Choreographer Dajana Zilić added that the song is a special appeal to adults to take responsibility for the future of children or they will embark on a quest for a better world themselves. Tara and Zola brought a unique warmth to the festival with their energy, voices, and stage presence. Their performance was awarded five prizes: third place for composition, best lyrics, best choreography and stage performance, best production, and a special recognition for the youngest performer, awarded to Zola. The song "Children of the Universe" left a deep impression on all present and demonstrated that the future of the music scene has a bright perspective with such young artists.
